Genetic Testing for Disease Risks in Utero

It's one thing to make decisions about what we do with our own DNA, but what about when it comes to minors, or, perhaps even more complicated, infants still in utero? Worse even than the debate of whether or not to post photos of children online before they can have a say in their online identity, genome testing now available to parents can enable them to make life-altering decisions for children in ways never before possible. Geisinger Health has launched an initiative called MyCode with an ostensible goal of "finding ways to diagnose medical conditions earlier" -- including those that raise questions of terminating pregnancies.
